楊（杨）yáng（一ㄤˊ）

⒈ 楊柳科楊屬喬木的統稱。與柳相似，枝條上挺，種子有白絮。種類很多，有銀白楊﹑毛白楊等。《易·大过》：“枯楊生稊，老夫得其女妻，無不利。” 清陈梦雷《松树为风雨所拔叹》诗：“歲寒老樹尚如此，何况朽木與枯楊。”

⒉ 楊桃的省稱。

⒊ 戰國時代楊朱及其學派的簡稱。《孟子•滕文公下》：“天下之言，不歸楊則歸墨。”

⒋ 姓。如漢代有楊震。
