A novel route for methanol to olefins was studied,in which the mixture of methanol and iodic acid aqueous solution was gasified and passed through a fix bed of the double catalysts of HZSM-5 and 10%MxOy/HZSM-5(M=Al,Zn,Mn,Mg or Cu;x,y=1,2,3…)to produce olefines.
